insurance industry. It reviews AI’s development and expected future
growth. Similar to the insurance industry, AI touches many human
activities, public and private. This course traces the effects of AI on
insurer operations including employment, underwriting, marketing,
claims handling, loss prevention and investment. AI's impact of specific
lines of insurance is explored. The regulatory developments caused by
the introduction of AI are reviewed.
